i would agree completly. when the DB was running the INT back i was hoping that he would not step out on purpose to get manning the record. i do not think he meant to step out. and then when manning came in and just downed the ball that was class.
i did not want to see manning break the record but now i think i might have changed my mind. |

ray lewis came around to shake payton's hand too after that. The fans also had a "mock-boo", They booed but clapped at the same time cause they know that was the right thing to do. It may not have been a score-fest but that may have been my favorite game to watch all year. To watch all the pre-snap action was like watching a chess match. The Ravens D vs. Peyton's O. That was what football was all about and the game ended in the right way...with class and respect. Bravo |

Peyton could have just taken an easy shot at trying to tie the record, but they knelt on the ball well inside the Red Zone.
Baltimores D played too well to try and embarrass them Classy stuff right there by Manning and Dungy Everything bad that happens in the game gets amped up beyond belief, so I wante dto shine some light on something positive for a change *gasp* |

payton is turning into a real favorite of mine fast. that seemingly inconsiquential act could cost him the record in about a thousand scenarios i can think of. the guy is a class act and has talent to burn. i wish him all the luck in the world. 'let's go insurance adjusters, let's go.' |
