W/o looking at the other posts, here are my 10.

1)Eli Manning will have a horrible rookie season. Next Ryan Leaf/Tim Couch?
2)The Lions will make the playoffs.
3)Drew Brees will have a good season, but maybe too late to stay in SD.
4)Dallas goes 4-12.
5)The Patriots don't make the Super Bowl...don't even win their division.
6)That award goes to the Jets.
7)The 49ers, Chargers, and Cardinals won't be the worst NFL team. That award goes to the Buffalo Bills.
8)Ken Dorsey takes over the 49ers QB job and holds the job for years to come.
9)Brian Westbrook, LJ Smith, and Michael Lewis go to the Pro-Bowl.
10)The Eagles win the Super Bowl (okay not bold, but still my predicition!)

Give it a shot, but try not to copy predictions that others have already made:

1] The Panthers will not have a winning record.
2] The Titans will finish last in the AFC South.
3] The Dolphins will finish ahead of the Jets and Bills, but another season short of the playoffs will be the end of Dave Wannstedt.
4] The best team in the NFC will have no more than 11 wins.
5] LaDainian Tomlinson will not make it through the entire season healthy.
6] The Saints will win the NFC South.
7] Houston will have the best football team in Texas.
8] The Patriots may win more games than all the NFL teams in California combined.
9] Joey Harrington will open the season as the Lions starting QB, but he won't finish the season there.
10] Seattle will be the first team in the NFL to clinch a division title.
  • Looking good with this prediction as the Panthers are 1-7.
  • Half way through, this prediction is true.
  • Ain’t looking good here with the Jets at 6-2, the Bills at 3-5, and the Dolphins at 1-8.
  • not looking good here either with the Eagles with 7 wins already.
  • He has at least 17 carries per game so far.
  • Halfway through, the Saints trail the Falcons by three games.
  • Dallas 3-5; Houston 4-4
  • California Teams 10 wins – New England 7 wins.
  • Harrington is still in there at this point.
  • With a one game lead, that prediction isn’t looking good at this point. The Falcons have a three game lead halfway through.

In no particular order.

1. The Jaguars will win a playoff game, most likely on the road.

2. The worst five teams (record wise) in football will include two former dynasties, the Cowboys and the 49er's.

3. Tampa Bay will finish below Minnesota in team defense.

4. Both the Lions and Bears will play revolving QB's this year, but will go into next season with "confidence" in Harrington and Grossman.

5. There will be 2, 2000 yard rushers this year as both Priest Holmes and Clinton Portis will top the 2 century mark.

6. The Cowboys could very well be the #1 in defense and dead last in offense this year.

7. The Eagles WON'T lose another NFC Championship game, because they won't make it there this year.

8. To the dismay of media types everywhere, Randy Moss will win the MVP award this season, after which he will become a media darling.

9. Teams that will be sitting home come playoff time will be; Green Bay, St Loius, Carolina, and Baltimore.

10. No team will have a shutout this year.

1. Indy will wish they spent some of that Manning money on a defense.
2. KC will find out that Gunther doesn't play defense and wish they'd spent some money in free agency for the defense.
3. Priest will not last the season.
4. Oakland will finally realize that Al's the problem. (Yeah right)
5. Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Arizona and Houston will improve their records.
6. Tennessee will forget all about Eddie George.
7. Green Bay will not make the playoffs.
8. Minnesota will run away with their division.
9. By the end of the season Owens will be dawging McNabb and Reid.
10. Ditto Keyshawn, insert the entire Cowboy organization.
11. Denver's defense will be tops in the league but the offense will be so bad, they miss the playoffs.
12. Jake Plummer is MVP and Quentin Griffin has people talking about the second coming of Barry.
13. I will be discovered to have schizophrenia.
