I respect him on the field but his off the field shit is bull. the whole "If it looks like a duck, it must be a duck" comment a couple of months back was way out of line.
Yeah, but the biggest A-Hole? Why? he said a couple bad things about someone....? you need a reality check...

. If the press is tired of hearing about it then they should quit asking both of them about it. Don't fucking ask about and then write that you're tired of hearing about it. If you were tired of hearing about it you wouldn't bring it up.
Exactly the press should stop asking about it but me or you couldnt stop them from doing so just cause we dont like it. Look I like To as a player, especially his early years in SF but his attitude sucks now. If he'd shut up and play Id like him more but hes getting a bigger mouth when hes stupposed to be maturing.

Let me think bigger Ass Hole in football.......... Well, it seems it's no big deal if you kill someone while driving drunk, were charged with conspiracy to murder, hired someone to kill your pregnant wife(yeah I know technically he's not in football), think you're too important to wait in traffic so you ram over meter maids, it's about comments.

Hmmm what was it Keyshawn called Ronde Barber not too long ago... oh yeah an Uncle Tom, that's not too bad. Wait they're not on the same team anymore that doesn't matter either. Ok how about Garcia's current coach I think I can recall him this year on numerous occasions questioning his QB's ability. No wait the media isn't still covering that one nevermind.

Insinuate that someone may be gay, holy shit what a dick and he doesn't even wear a bow tie. Honestly it shouldn't even matter either way if he is or not. Who cares about all the charity work he does OFF the field, especially for diabeties. Maybe he should get arrested for Grand Theft Auto over the weekend to better his reputation.

You act like he was in control of it, he is an opinionated guy, if you ask him a question he is giong to answer it, in that case I like the guy, I get so sick of hearing AR and McNabb with their non answers every week, it's nice to have a guy who will speak his mind.

There are some football players out there who have been involved in drug transactions, murder situations, and you hate this guy b/c he doesn't like one of his old teammates?
Get your facts straight. I have known all about TO and the way he is, LONG before you have. You dont have to explain "who" he is. You cant deny the fact that ever since he was traded he wanted to tell everyone who would listen about how bad Garcia was. Sure, the media had something to do with it. IMO, the media is to blame for the recent comments. And no, I dont hate him, I just dont care for the way he handled it.

Agreed. I have watched every Niners game for the last few years. Yes, Garcia has a weaker arm than McNabb, thats obvious. TO never took responsibility for dropping so many passes though, either, which happened often and in crucial situations. That being said, if TO is so happy in Philly, then be happy there and leave all your bs behind.
In T.O.'s press conference the other day, he refused to answer any questions about Garcia and said "If this is what the press conference is going to be about, it's over" or something to that effect. He's starting to come around finally.

Since Ricky Williams is technically no longer in football, my response to the original poster is no, there isnt a bigger asshole in football than T.O right now. What a bitter bitch. Great talent but get the man a muzzle and shut him up already. He just goes on and on; it gets old real fast.
You guys are fucking crazy. You've got guys killing a woman while driving drunk and then going out and driving drunk again, guys ramming vehicles into parked vehicles in which the guys wife, infant child, and nanny are occupants, guys acting as brokers on the cocaine Wall St., and guys mowing down traffic gaurds simply b/c she's in his way and you single out TO as the biggest asshole in football. Wow. If the press is tired of hearing about it then they should quit asking both of them about it. Don't fucking ask about and then write that you're tired of hearing about it. If you were tired of hearing about it you wouldn't bring it up.

Uh..Owens says 'Its History' what exactly is the problem? It's not his fault reporters continue to bring it up, it's not like he is holding his own press conferences with the sould intent to trash Garcia...reporters keep asking him about it yesterday and he said he doesn't want to talk about it anymore.
Oh God, Phila...dont have "blind support" here cause now you are just arguing because he is on your team.

Well, the thing with answering questions is that he has had every opportunity to make this a non-story. The job of any reporter by and large is to get a good sound-bite, and T.O. is one of the best at providing that. He bags on this guy constantly, even puts it in a book, he answers every question broached to him with a smile and smart ass comment. Yet when it actually comes to game time, when this issue is going to get national attention, ALL OF A SUDDEN, he's soooo tiiired of all this talk about Garcia. What a gracious and loving man. It's not his fault the reporters are doing their job, it's not his fault he panders to them every opportunity he has, noooooo. I mean, he complains at this press conference, says he doesn't want to talk about it. But last week he was answering a question "what's he supposed to do? Look at the camera?", here's a hint, do what you just did and say no comment.

Owens short-armed every pass from Garcia his last year, probably because Garcia "should have had it on his numbers". Nevermind the fact that a QB has to throw the ball to where only the receiver has a chance at it. I know Garcia faltered in recent years but come on, try to lift the guy up, not drag him down. I wouldn't put it past Owens to short-arm passes to make a QB he doesn't like look even worse.

Owens has been bitching forever that he's the best receiver ever. That if he had McNabb his whole career his numbers would rival Moss and Harrisson. Well here's why I don't consider you a great receiver T.O., make a damn play!! Sure anybody with your athletic ability can run a good route and catch a ball at his chest. There's a reason that the greats like Rice are considered to have magnetic hands, it's because they catch balls that are...get this....hard to catch. Try to make a spectacular catch to bail out your QB instead of worrying about your stats for once and then we'll talk.

I said this on another thread on the Eagles board, but I'll repeat it here. This whole thing is TO's fault. When you are on a team you do not question other players on that team, and he did that while in SF. He questioned how good a QB Garcia was. I think we can mostly all agree that what TO said was true, but you don't trash your teammates. He got a bad rep for this, and it carried over. Anything he said after he left SF I don't have a problem with, because he wasn't trashing a teammate anymore. But I do think that the worst thing you can do in football world is trash a teammate, coach, owner, etc. publicly, and that is what TO did. He may be a better person than the others listed here, but he did the one thing, in my mind, that you don't do within the football profession.
Sure, he made a mistake in San Fran, and obviously thats what you hold against him, but Today is a new day. Give the guy a chance. I'd say he's been pretty damn good as an eagle. He says one thing about McNabb or this team and Andy will eat him...and thats no joke, he'll seriously eat him. Let that San Fran shit die.

TO's new favorite phrase should be "No Comment".

Although the writer of that article says this game is about the sub-plot of TO and Garcia, he's a fucking idiot. Its a football game, the only subplots are the 1-1 matchups being subplots to the Eagles vs. Browns. TO's comments were correct...nuff said.

That's good. I think he realizes that he may have carried it on long enough and people already have seen his point.

Your link doesn't seem to be working for me, my fellow drunk, but I get the gist of the conversation............we're talkin' about T.O.

From a long-time Philly-fan's perspective:

I'm wondering what all the prophesies of doom were all about. As far as I can see, T.O. is a highly competitive ego-maniac who wants to win.

As far as T.O. the man, I can't comment there, since I don't know him. But I get the point; no way should he be inferring anything.

You have to make concessions for Philly fans. We're so God-damned starved for a parade, that we're willing to overlook a man's social short-comings, as long as he performs on the filed.

Besides that, he hasn't been accused of rape or murder.

So just how many anti-Ravens posts have you originated lately?

You guys have a little growing up to do as well as Owens does also. Who the hell care if he "sucks cock" as hotpoppa so quaintly put it. Let the guy be for christs sake. Last time i checked he can do whatever and WHOEVER he wants.
