but it doesn't take into consideration defense other than turnovers, i find it hard to believe that the top 12 were the 12 playoff teams

Follow this path, cardsfanboy:

Articles -> Sports Boards Articles -> Football Articles

Or you can just click here.

but it doesn't take into consideration defense other than turnovers, i find it hard to believe that the top 12 were the 12 playoff teams
Actually, that's not true. I factor in points allowed, yards allowed, and 3rd down conversion percentage allowed. If you don't believe me when I say the top 12 were the playoff teams, I will find the link to my rankings the last week of the 2003 regular season.

Here's the link to my rankings at the end of the 2003 regular season:

http://www.vikingcentral.com/thread....be39c1ad12af6b

As you can see, the 12 playoff teams are 1-12, and the Vikings and Dolphins are 13-14.

Man if it wasn't for those Darn Browns whooping it up on Ray Lewis and his boys, we would rule the week. Oh well I think we may end up on top after this weekend anyways.

I love the way you take all of the important things into consideration. nice little formula.

What style are you using, CFB? It should have changed for all styles.

Edit - Never mind, I found the error. Apparently the Dark Style didn't inherit the change from the Default Style. Should work now.

It turned out pretty good last year, cpt.

At the end of last regular season, I had the 12 playoff teams all in my top 12, with Minnesota and Miami (The two teams with winning records who did not make it) ranked 13 and 14.

The week 1 rankings are usually a little funky, as I only have one week's worth of statistics to play off of.
