For the Harrison trade, I look at Hines Ward not to be that much of a downgrade from Harrison, while I was getting Clinton Portis, the pre-season third ranked player, and giving up only Travis Henry, who I nabbed in third round and is more unproven than Portis and will share carries with Willis McGahee. I'm not one of those guys who would take Portis over Ahman Green and LaDainian Tomlinson, but I can always trade him to someone who is.

I'm not to worried about the Raven's bye week also, because I looked at the schedule and that week I have the guy who drafted Duece McAllister first overall, Ricky Williams in the second round, and Jerry Rice in the third round.

10. It's a Yahoo league. I've made 4 trades in that league already to get where I'm at.

Marvin Harrison and Travis Henry for Clinton Portis and Hines Ward

Brad Johnson and Tampa Bay for Baltimore

Thomas Jones for Tiki Barber

And Eric Moulds for Steve Smith

I also got Priest Homes with the 4th pick.

What were you thinking with those deals?

Marvin Harrison is a proven vet. He will get you great production year in and year out. Clinton Portis is in a new system where he won't be helped by the great Broncos' O-Line. The Redskins O-Line is nothing compared to that of the Broncos and they have just lost a key guy in Jansen. Portis is a great player, but to give up a running back like Henry and Harrison is a bit much. (Yeah, I know you got Ward in the deal too, but I still think you gave up too much.)

Brad Johnson and the Tampa Bay D might be a good deal for the Baltimore Defense but now you have your defense and K from the same team. Which means, you are going to have to drop two players for that bye week. Not good.

Thomas Jones for Tiki Barber. I have been hearing some good things about Jones as of late, but I still would have done the deal if I were you.

My two cents.
