Thanks so much, Cee! You always have such nice things to say.
I have a few portraits to share! The ones from the cemetery are from the fall. I love fall in my home town. It's always such a beautiful and inspiring place. ![]() Brother dear. ![]() ![]() I normally prefer color, but I think the b&w works better in this situation. The sun was setting, so I'm not loving the tones. Thoughts? ![]() More from Emily on page 1... ![]() ![]() Even though this photo isn't my favorite, I think it perfectly illustrates her character. She's hilarious and makes me crack up non-stop! |

Thanks Barb!
![]() I used the area as part of my Dream Project that I made during school. If you look at the large area for farm land in the above photo, you'll see a small formation of trees. This is where I was. ![]() One of my favorite photographers, Joel Sternfeld, photographed the area around the same time, and put out a book called the Oxbow Archive. If you happen to come across it, you should check it out. It's my holy grail of books. (Joel and I photographed the same area in the same month and year. We could have easily bumped into each other, though I wouldn't have known who he was. (Kinda mind blowing in a photo geek perspective!) |
