I acquired a 18-55 AF-S (D50 package contact) after attempting to sell my 17-55 f/2.8. I liked the 2.8, it's simply the sharpest move I've ever used. Unfortuitously I wanted money to repair a roof on my home. That focal length is used by me a great deal for landscape material and I thought the 18-55 works OK because I often shoot at little aperature on a tripod. I'm very happy with it to date. Until I obtain the resources to get still another 2.8 It'll ork good click for bigger view
