Default Look what I 'caught'... (I think it's a Falcon)
Heard it screaming at the window, recognized the sound, ran and grabbed my camera.
it was standing on the window next to mine...

What a beauty

Where'd the sky go? Did you have time to put a white sheet up behind the fowl?

I over exposed this pic so the falc would be well exposed. and tbh the sky DID look that way. air was mixed with so much dust, that the sun wasn't even visible. you should visit here in Israel and see it for yourself. :P

edit: It's not a part of the routine, the dust and all that, so don't be afraid of having a visit.

Some new crops.
Really hard to get a good sharp photo as they fly pretty fast and close to me, using 300mm...

Very nice shots there.....but as you pointed out yourself, they are a bit blurry.

I really like the last one where the sun is hitting the wing......it really let the colors shine.

Beatifull bird [thumbup]

I don't usually come in general art, but you had an intriguing title. And then whe I saw the flying pics, I said "WOW" out loud!

Heh, thanks guys...
What I'm really looking forward to is for this bird to land on my window base(again) with some prey at it's claws, one time it actually landed on my window base with a relatively small snake it has caught.

Yes that is indeed a female falcon (Falco tinnunculus [thumbup]) the male has a grey head and tail, the female has a brown head and spotted/banded tail and is larger than the male.

When I saw the title Pokemon came across my mind ,So I though you caught some kind of falcon pokemon or whatever. til i came in and saw the pictures. Nice shots.

Those would make nice wallpapers.

awesome stuff, i've tried to capture birds in flight and not once have i been able to even get an 'acceptable' picture, i've got very few shots with them standing still before they fly off, with those i feel well accomplished so getting them in flight you should feel very happy[thumbup]

maybe its only me thinking this but ppl in israel love photography .. i often check pics on trekeart site and they have some incredible pictures there of israel and alot of members from israel, alot more then some countries with alot more population.

oh and the picture is great btw, yeah its too bad u had to over exposure the image but oh well u cant get the sun at the right angle at all times unfortunately and i'd take this pic any time of the day instead of a blue sky and a black outline of a bird ..
