Default Electric Guitar sound
Hi,

I just bought the Squire Affinity Starter Pack which comes with a Frontman 15G amp. Its exactly like the package in this youtube video:

Thing is, I cant seem to get the sound like he gets towards the end of the video, ive tried all sorts of combinations and I just cant get it. Please help

I think you're talking about what are commonly referred to as pinch harmonics. This is a decent explanation (after you get through the intro). Moving your picking hand closer and further away from the bridge will change the frequency of the harmonic making some pretty cool sounds. It is easier to hear them with more gain.

Thanks but my AMP doesnt make that screetching noise :-( Its got DRIVE but I dont know what to set the other knobs to (GAIN, Normal Volume, Drive Volume, Treble, Middle and Bass)

Is this your first Electric guitar Rasho? How long have you been playing for?

Tone comes from your fingers first and foremost. Learn how to actually do pinch harmonics first (and infact learn what they actually are), then dial in some heavy distortion with a decent amount of Middle and Treble for the best results.
