Default Need photoshop help, how to enhance color of rainbow?
Hey guys could anyone give me some help with this, it is way beyond my knowledge of photoshop. I want to enhance the colors in this rainbow so they are more prominent, is it possible to do without messing up the rest of the colors in the image?

Ok, i've got 3 versions...

1st one (left everything untouched except the rainbow, pushed the saturation a little too far on the rainbow.)

2nd one (just a change in crop and image size, tried to get rid of the chair and ceiling part)

3rd one (basically tried to adjust it like i'd want it. desaturated the rainbow a little bit to take the distortion back out, cropped off the blurry interior part, upped brightness/saturation about +4, and then rotated/resized/sharpened)

To adjust the saturation on just the rainbow, i used the sponge tool (same little block as dodge/burn tool) and set the option to saturate at 50% and just kept going back and forth over it until it looked strong enough (no idea what brush size I used). You can also do use the same tool to desaturate.

It's a picture I took out of a train from Alaska.

He cranked up the color saturation (which is generally a bad thing, because it makes the image look horribly un-natural).

Thinking out loud: If you want to be a bit arty:

Why up the saturation of the rainbow?

Why not Desaturate eveything elseto greyscale?

Rainbow doesn't look fake and makes it look more colour ful than it previously seemed.

I'll have a go when I get some time and post it if I think it looks good.
