The 50mm primes are a must have. 2 main reasons are:

1) Bokeh
2) Correct perspective, ideal for portraits.

Very nice indeed!

If I had one negative comment to make, it would be that the lighting seems a little inconsistent - especially in respect to the skin tones on the first two pics - they are very different.

Agreed. 50mm prime is my fav lens, next is the 35/2 and the 135/2.5. Oh yeah and my 16/2.8 fisheye.

Primes are a cheap way for us starving photographers

P.S. Wish I had a 180mm macro
lol 180mm macros cost like more than those F/2.8 telezooms!!
I'll stick with my $70 50mm F/1.4 with extension tubes
