Ordnance factory, Kanpur, has announced awards for personnel who developed a 155 mm 39 Cliber gun which has strongest barrel in its class tested so far in the country. OFB says that the Indian Army has termed it as futuristic gun. The OEF, Kanpur was given a challenge of developing totally indigenous gun within a short span of seven months. The factory completed the task within the deadline.
