The holy month of Ramadan has reached its 17th day as an Iftar party was organised by the Dagger Division in the premises of Dagger Artillery Brigade. Lieutenant Genera Om Prakash,General Officer Commanding15 Corps graced the occasion alongwith Major General Bipin Rawat, GOC Dagger Division, Jenab Gulam Ahmad Khwaja, DC Baramulla, a number of civil dignitaries, Mohalla presidents and other prominent personalities of the town.

The residents of Baramulla were delighted to meet the Corps Commander and expressed their gratitude on being invited to the Iftar. The people interacted with the Corps Commander and discussed how to further improve the situation in the town. As the time of iftar approached the prayer was led by Haji Abdul Rahim of Taweedgunj. After opening the roza with dates and water the rozadars opened their fast with a sumptuous iftar dinner.

The Corps Commander wished the awaam of Baramulla a happy and prosperous Ramadan and thanked them for their cooperation in maintaining peace and tranquility in the town. He also hoped that the holy month brings prosperity to all in Baramulla.
