INS Vishal is expected to feature steam catapults to operate larger fighter aircraft (Su-30 variant may be), Indian Naval version of Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, an airborne early warning (AEW) system and possibly aerial refuelers. It is budged to cost around $1.5 billion.
