9 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of HQ 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles organisedPattan Adventure Show at Degree College Ground, Pattan on 24 Jun 2012. The event was Inaugurated by Jenab Basharat Bukhari, MLA Sangrama and Brigadier AK Tyagi, Commander HQ 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles. Army motorcycle team “Tornadoes” who came from Banguluru displayed several adrenaline pumping stunts on their motorcycles to entertain the gathering. More than 2000 locals from in and around Pattan village gathered to witness the awe inspiring display of over 20 different motorcycle stunts. In this event a dog show was also organised by the army in which army dogs performed several stunts and exhibited their skills of tracking, identifying and attacking. Along with these daredevil displays of raw courage there was an army band which entertained the gathering with their melodious and patriotic tunes. The event concluded with Jenab Basharat Bukhari, Colonel RL Patro, Deputy Commander HQ 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles and Col Prashant Pande felicitating the performers. While interacting with the army authorities the locals expressed their happiness and excitement on witnessing the awesome display of tornadoes and requested for organising more such events responding to which Col Prashant Pande promised that more such events shall be showcased for them.
