Shiva Diksha
The Advaita Vedanta mentions as 'All are same, All are one and All are divine' His Holiness Swamiji of Shree Math Harihara Putra when he visited Chennai, I had an opportunity to attend his Lectures and also to take Shiva Diksha from HIS holiness. Swamiji takes lot of interest to propagate the ancient Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The Shiva Diksha Mantra Upadesam is a vital component in HIS preaching. Sri Swamiji conducts the Shiva Diksha programme every year in Anantha Padmnabha Swami Temple at Adayar. During that time, he explains the process, significance of Rudraksha. His Holiness Swamiji himself chants the Deeksha dhyana shloka and does the mantra upadesa to everyone who are assembled in the Hall and concludes with a Shanti Mantra. My wife also attended once and took Deeksha from HIS holiness. Every person who takes part in the event is given a Rudraksham easy to wear with a black thread and a beautiful picture of Lord Shiva. Shiva diksha really assumes magnificent significance on the holy night of Shivarathri where all the participants are given an opportunity. Please visit www.prapatti.com and you can number of Slokas.
