Hi All,

In the coming month of avani, there are 2 amavasayas. Is it anything abnormal in that? My relative bought a house last month and are about to do grahaprevasam in avani. Just now one of their friend told that it is not good to do good things on a month with 2 amavasyas.

Please clarify. Is this really true? If yes, they have to cancel this and post pone next month

Generally, Amavasa day is an auspicious day for starting any thing new. When there are 2 amavasas in a month it should be a good month. In Kanda puranam when Veerabhaghu chanted Muruga he was blessed with a diamond studded throne to sit before surabadman. Praying god whole heartedly will relieve you from all your problems. If there is 2 new moon or 2 full moon in a month you should not do subha karyams. IIf there is no fulmoon and no new moon in one month you shoulde not do subha karyams. If there is no tamil madha pirappu or 2 madha pirappu in one month you should not do subha karyams on those months.

Guru is not aspecting the sun in the month of aavani. If it aspects no mala madham. so this aavani month is mala madham you should not do grahapravesam. In puratasi first preference to the pithrukkal. so in aippasi and in karthigai you can do grahapravesam provided you get an auspicious day.

To do grahapravesam the previous rasi from lagnam must be empty. you should not do in sara lagnams. ( mesham, kadagam, thulam,makaram) are sara lagnams. Thara palam and chandra phalam must be there. panchagam must be seen.There should not be guru and asthamanam and ethir sukran should also not be there.You should not do after 12 noon on any day. All days except tuesday and saturday are good.Sukla patcham (valar pirai) is good. don't do after panchami in krishna patcham.

only sidha and amirtha yogam are good. Only dwithiyai, thruthiyai, panchami, sapthami,ekadasi and thryodasi are good in sukla patcham. Dwithiyai,thruthiyai and panchami are good in krishna patcham.Masi, panguni, ani, aadi, puratasi, margali months are not good. this year only aavani is also not good.see dates from ladies birth star.don't do on kari naal.
