if anybody know about mattakalappu(eastern province of todays srilanka) thamizh and the specialities of the ancient thamizh, plz explain........

Well there was once a kerala poet who was blind he went to Ceylon and became very famous vide his ballads. The king of Lanka called him and gave him Jaffna to rule so it is suppose a combination of tamil and malayalam.
