Default Nehru and Netaji
WHY NEHRU INVENTED NETAJI'S DEATH, WHILE HE WAS IN PRISON IN CHINA.

What was Nehru's interest in suppressing the news and letting Netaji rot in prison in Mao's captivity and later in Mao's China.

1. Netaji was the leader who had already defeated him in Congress President Election. He did not want him to come back and win again. Netaji was too strong a competition and would have taken over.

2. Netaji was opposed to his ideology of communist, Shantidoot weak nation.

SO WHY DID CHINA KEEP NETAJI

1. Mao got Netaji, realized he will be an asset for India and knew Nehru was a moron (oops).

2. That was the reason Nehru and India did not give any support to Chang Kai Sheikh's democratic China in war against Mao.

3. They knew if Netaji came to power, they will not be able to take Tibet, and beyond, that they were planning to do.

4. They also knew by keeping Netaji they have Nehru by his balls and his hearts and brains will follow, he will not interfere in Tibet.

INDIA's LOSE

1. As Netaji had a much bigger following among young people, they would have just built India into a greater nation
2. If Netaji would have been there, instead of Nehru, India would be one from Tibet to Afghanistan to Ceylon to Burma; permanent member of UNSC and a developed country by now.
3. Nehru did not have any idea of sovereignty, or national boundary or administration. Netaji on the other hand was a very good student, only one to score over 100% marks and had resigned his job as a British Civil Servant to serve India.

huh....

Sandeep,
Did u write this?
It is one of the very strong theories about the missing of Netaji.

It is hard to believe that there is no clear proof as to what happened to Netaji. Did he just vanish to thin air?

The Taiwan Government has informed the one-man Netaji Commission of Inquiry that there was no air crash at Taihoku on August 18, 1945, till date believed to have killed Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

Airport records, various newpapers off the period and documents related to cremation of dead people during that period have been scrutinized. Netaji was a popular figure in East asia and there is no chance that his death would have gone un reported.

The Commision will submit its report on May 14th.

The website comes at a time when the nation is eagerly awaiting the report of the Justice Manoj Kumar Mukherjee Commission of Inquiry (probing the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in August 1945) to be tabled in parliament later this month

Interesting that you mention Kennedy, as you know the enquiry senate committee said that there is lot more to Kennedy's death that what is known. Involvement of CIA, Underworld, Cuba and then a dead president. Again his younger Brother Robert Kennedy (who as chief of staff to JFK lead the war against underworld) was shot dead when he contested for presidency. Later their youngest brother (a growing politician)was killed in Car accident and much later JFK junior was killed in plain accident.

Update

Justice M. K. Mukherjee Inquiry Commission on Wednesday concluded that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose "is dead," but he did not die in a plane crash as was alleged. It further observed that the ashes preserved in a Japanese temple "are not that of Netaji." In the absence of clinching evidence, the probe panel said that a positive answer could not be given whether Netaji had died in any other manner or at any other place and, if so, when and how.

The probe panel, headed by Justice M. K. Mukherjee, a retired Supreme Court judge, was appointed on May 14, 1999 by the National Democratic Alliance Government to inquire into the facts and circumstances related to the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in 1945.

On their efforts to get a DNA test performed on the ashes kept at the Renkoji Temple in Japan, the Commission said the temple authorities were hesitant to allow physical inspection and collection of less charred bone pieces from the casket in their custody.

"Considering that the average life span of an Indian is 70-75 years and that Netaji was born on January 23, 1897 — more than 108 years ago — it can safely and surely be presumed that he is no more," it said.

A Camouflage

Referring to the plane crash in which Netaji allegedly died, the Commission observed: "It stands established that emplaning at Saigon on August 17, 1945, Netaji succeeded in evading the Allied Forces. As a camouflage, the make-believe story of the air crash, Netaji's death therein and his cremation were engineered by the Japanese Army authorities... .and then aired on August 23, 1945... Though no firm opinion can be expressed about Netaji's exit point, it can legitimately be inferred, with regard to the established fact that Habibur Rahman, who accompanied him from Saigon, was next found in Taipei, cooking up a story of his death there, that Netaji disappeared from Taipei. But, the question whether Netaji thereafter landed in Russia or elsewhere cannot be answered for dearth of evidence."

Contradictory versions

On Netaji's alleged disappearance in the plane crash, the Commission further said: "Some press reports published from Tokyo and Taipei gave contradictory versions."

Justice Mukherjee Commission examined 131 witnesses in and outside India and relied upon the statements of deponents and information from various sources, both within the country and abroad.

However, the Government disagreed with the findings of the Justice Mukherjee Commission. The Commission's report and the Government's Action Taken Report (ATR) were placed in Parliament on Wednesday.

Ayyovappa! No, no, no!

Every country has one great leader who did not die, but will return to save the country in its hour of need. Britan has King Arthur. Denmark has King Ogier. Denkali has the Phantom.

Unfortunately, Indians have not had such great figures. All our kings and heros have had the irritating habit of dying and then staying stubbornly dead. But not any longer! Now we have Netaji, who did not die, but will return to lead India, some day, when India needs it. We are finally a mature, developed country.
