Oh ok.

I was under the impression that அண்மை also meant "near" and that the usage had falled out of circulation over the ages. Much like the word சமீபம், which used to mean recent but also close in terms of distance, but now means only 'recent'.

அருகாமை Only can mean PROXIMITY.

அணுக்கம் (Nown) = Approach

அணுகு-முறை = Method of Approach / Modus Operandi.
