How come no women writers at all ? Strange...

Can anybody in this group give me a list of women writers or books by women writers in tamil prior to 1940s ?

most of the above 10 things aren't the top 10 books except perhaps the first but even Thirukkural is writting wrongly by fellow Thamizhans..so what to say other than..this is a nonsense nominating ill-done work (except Thirukkural and ponniyin selvan, en charitdram are good)

and There are other books that can be nominated...

What about jeyamohan's 'Pin thodarum nizhalin kural'?It gave a complete new dimension to tamil literature...especially the farce at the end.Its style was so refreshingly thought provoking.

One book that I see is not included is Sudhandhira Daagam by Sri Si. Su. Chellappa. The book received the Saahitya Akademi Award for Tamil literature for 2002. Also his other work "Vaadivaasal," translated into English, French, and German.
