I guess it will be difficult to compile a list of best books on all subjects in thamizh. In literature, my take would be:

Some of the books I considered for inclusion in the above list but left out were
1. Azhagin Sirippu by Bharatidasan 2. Bhagavad Gita by Swami Chidbhavananda 3. Kurinji Malar by Na.Pa 4. Mercury Pookkal by Balakumaran In retrospect I should have included Panchali Sabatham instead of M.S.Udayamoorthy's book in the original list |
