Baana Kaathadi is a quite decent album with at least two great songs and two good/ok ones.

Thakkuthe and Paithiyam pidikkuthe are simply fantastic. En nenjil is a quite good melody, though not perfect. I'm liking it as of now, second interlude is Next comes Kuppathu rajakkal, background music and that 'hey machi vaa machi' are the highlights, tune is not that well, but. And finally ullara poondhu...well, again orchestration and interludes superb, but it's not quite appealing.

Overall two songs standing out, with another two making for a good listen (at the moment).

From Milliblog:

Thaakkudhey & Paithiyam pudikkudhu – Baana (Tamil – Yuvan Shankar Raja)
Yuvan has this predictable way of sucking you in his honey-coated melodies – they all sound the same after 10 listens, but never, ever cease to surprise you by how addictive they can get. Paiya’s ‘Thuli thuli’ was an example and so was ‘En kaadhal solla’. Thaakkudhey is in a similar vein, only a bit faster than usual….and ‘thakkudhu’ it does! Paithiyam pudikkudhu has Karthik sounding quite strange, but as a tune, along with it’s haunting arrangements, this is yet another Yuvan victory.

Kadhal solla vandhen (titled 'Naan avalai sandhitha pozhudhu' earlier) directed by Bhoopathy Pandiyan starring Balaji, an actor in kana kaanum kaalangal serial.
Music is by Yuvan. Songs are expected to be out in few days.
Hero has leaked all songs on his facebook. wondering how the hero himself is doing such a thing.
I'm yet to get the songs.
Album Has 5 tracks in total. Four melody and peppy numbers. One village song "kadhal sami varugudhu" with predominant udukkai beats. Ir liked this track very much and appreciated Yuvan

Oh Shala - A complete song! Excellent flow! The first interluded is too good!

Three songs are great!

Udit track could have been sung by karthik

This is indeed a pleasant surprise.

தலை கோதி, அவள் சாப்பிட,
மேஜை மீது காகம் ஆகிறேன்...
சிதறாதோ ஒரு சாதமே,
ஏங்கினேன்...........

Lyrics by Saradhi. Newbie it seems. Good job!

Thanks for removing the link boss.

And according to the movie's hero, the name has been changed again to Kadhal Solla Vandhen. Hero said so at his facebook site.

Nooooooo.......

This cannot be an official soundtrack. I heard this news long ago. But there were news from all sources that Simbu is crooning for a song 'pattu poochi' which is missing here.

I doubt this track listing. Either there are 7 songs. or the list is not real.
