Richard,
Best wishes for your efforts! No doubt HJ has some exciting stuff to offer to TN...

A small suggestion:
Why don't you guys place some original works of him in the 'Home' page at least? Personally, I would love to see 'vaseegarA' there. The first attraction to me was to try the latest sample and I clicked on the Bheema sample only to get irritated...not because it's bad, it's catchy enough, but I only know too well the original 'senthamizh thEn mozhiyAL'

Dear app_engine,

Thank you for your suggestion. We will keep your message for future evaluation. On the Bheema sample song, I don't really get you. What do you mean by "but I only know too well the original 'senthamizh thEn mozhiyAL" ?

Awaits your reply

Thank you

Cheers,
Richard Vijay

Richard,
Sorry for my cryptic language (something an average surfer of this forum can easily understand but not new entrants)...

OK, let me make this clear:

The sample from Bheema that is on the home page of your website strongly resembles an old Thamizh flim song, 'senthamizh thEn mozhiyAL, nilAvena siriththidum malarkkodiyAL', sung by T R Mahalingam.

link:
http://ww.smashits.com/music/tamil/s...halingam.html#

listen from time 1.00 onwards. Unfortunately, this seems to be not the first time this old classic is copied. As NOV points out in the copied songs thread, 'jalsA pannungadA' of Chennai-600028 is another copy of the same.

When you're showcasing the talents of a composer, you may not want to project a copied (or "inspired") tune in the home page. Instead, why not have the elegant 'vaseegarA' in the home page?

app_engine,

Thank you for the prompt clarification. Well, Harris Jayaraj Exclusive section is the hottest zone in themusicalharris.com

I believe that the Bheema sample song is a must to be published over there. And as what of your suggestion, Vaasegara is posh to be there too. But, we give more importance to latest and happening content.

Anyway, we will try our level best to add his golden releases, be it song or instrument in the Harris Jayaraj Exclusive section soon. Visit the site periodically for more promising updates.
