no...wut i mean was....Munbe Va just can evokes that LOVE thing hidden within u & make u melt along with the song... and this is a song u cant skip anytime inbetween the song....every part/min/sec is just too good and has that LOVE feeling in every secs.... the tune,chorus,the lyric,the singers,the interlude,perlude...u mention it...every part gets a 10/10.... ...dun think im saying this bcoz im ARR fan.... ive met many who agrees with me too.... non-arr fan ofcource.... !!! ...never seen them attachted to a MELODY song after since like Vaseegara !?.....

I don't think "Munbe Vaa" evokes that love feeling as "New York" did, atleast for me.. coz it had the typical lyrics,,nothin new....of course the music part was simply gr8... On the other hand "New York.." had some simple but effective lyrics, so it was more effective..

innisai - no doubt.......since the day i saw it on theatre, that song is running non-stop in my brain.........wat class music.......and the Ajith surprise.....most memorable song for me this year.....

Newyork and Munbee vaa spoiled by ordinary picturisation......

But picturised song was Manjal Veyil from VV.......too good......Jyothika looked so beautiful in that song, and Kamal-a pathhi sollave venam.........class....

Munbe Vaa (Jillunu oru Kadhal)
Uyirile (VV)
Innisai (Godfather/Varalaru) - Saindhavi version
Unnai Kandene (Parijatham)
Nenjangootil (Dishyum)
Oru Maatram (Naalai)

The following were good too, I did'nt like them too much though:

Idam Porul (Chithiram Pesudhadi)
Ragasiyamanadhu (Kodambakkam)
Rim Jim (June R)
Pooparikka (Something Something) - although this song is essentially a fill blanks to its counterpart song in Telugu.
