Has this combo happened in TFM yet?

I heard one song in the film dubbed Telugu film 'Vetri' starring Venkatesh. The song goes 'Thaene Thaene' or something like that.

Any ideas or comments on why this combo hasn't worked yet or worked that much in TFM?

mAybe because of the heroes in the movie HJ compose music for, another song By spb for HJ is "Pathu viral " from Arul. In my ears that sounds like kindergarten song they teach at school (melody).

The spb song you are talking about from Vetri is 'Paadava thaenena kambanin oru paadal'. Absolutely wonderful rendition by SPB.

This really makes one realize the power of SPB's voice. He has made a pretty ordinary song sound amazing.

And yup, wondering why this combo has not seen real success yet.
