Yes,I agree with you that is the primary objective of PM Lee,he faces too much alternative views in the cyber space, with such a meeting, coupled with the power of MSM ,is a very effective weapon.Good strategy.
If he cannot achieve his primary objective would probably be quite happy if he can achieve 2nd,4th or 10th objectives. Time well spent for PM Lee & his faithful workers. Famous bloggers be prepared for more teas/lunches with ministers. |

I hope during the Tea party, those bloggers don't talk cock with Pinky just for the sake of talking cock..
The invited bloggers should tell the PM about the real sentiments on the ground.. Don't tell him all those fairytale happy ending stories just to make him feel good.. Things are not that rosy in Sinkie Land at this moment of time.. The PM for the 60% should know that.. |

Pinky is just doing it for show lah. He is not serious about alternative views and pays no heed to them. Why should he be serious? Its no different to him saying 'sorry' and continuing doing wrong to Singaporeans. I will not bother about what Pinky does etc as he does what he wants and those things he does to 'show' singaporeans he cares is nothing more than shit for show......which is nothing more than bull shit.

I just read the report on his meeting with PM Lee by Andrew Loh.
http://www.tremeritus.com/2012/09/01...at-the-istana/ Frankly I am disappointed,I feel that PM Lee had not seized the golden opportunity to get a group of fairly responsible bloggers to try to inform the blogging community about his sincerity to want to have a serious National Conversation with the new media community so the whole nation can really engage in a serious discussion this time. But from that report,it is obvious that PM Lee's main objective was to convince the very responsible bloggers handed picked by PAP that the comments in the new media must follow the style of the MSM,put your IC,name, address, etc I am sure PM Lee does not want a National Conversation like the MSM forums, letters to editors. This meeting would be no different from Bloggers meeting with Tony Tan-PAP candidate for President or some other fact finding meetings by other Ministers, which I am sure would not satisfy the PAP. |
