Default Face of the future PM
Unless something drastic happens, I can't see anyone else. I think it has to be him.

It doesn't really matter who is the PM after LHL. He will be a seat warmer just like Goh Chok Tong (in fact GCT would have had to give up the premiership much earlier if not for the fact that LHL had cancer). The real deal will be LHL's eldest son. When his son becomes PM, LHL will then play the role as what the Old Fart is now playing, pulling all the strings. The planning for a perpetual Lee Dynasty has been done long ago (mainly by Gecko Choo) and will play out as planned unless the 60% wakes the fark up and vote PAP out. Only then will there be hope.

It does. How your PM behaves is going to determine if the "dynasty" will end.

I did say in my other thread "Can PAP solve the problems" that another GRC is likely to fall in 2016. 2 years after the GE, the main problems in Singapore hasn't even made an inch of progress. There are 3 years left and I think not much can be done or they want to do. Your PM hastens the speed of the opposition's progress.

The PAP only has 3 choices - Tan, Chan and Heng. Really, the rest are being ruled out for the obvious reason of age.

No, it doesn't. Because whoever is the PM after LHL will think, say and do according to what LHL instructs him. It was the same with GCT. He did everything according to LKY's wishes, LHL is also the same except for some minor matters which the father will permit him. So how your next PM behaves is how LHL wants him to behave just as how GCT behaved was what LKY want him to behave.

The only chance to end the "dynasty" is for the 60% to wake up. If not, the Lee dynasty will perpetuate as the old Gecko had planned it.

The next PM has to be at least 15 years older than pinky boy. This person will sit on the throne for 3 elections to give enough time for the third generation Lee to take over.

Too soon I feel too. But I do believe TCJ will not be the next, even if he continues to perform and shine. Too early for him to take over LHL. There will be one more before TCJ's batch takes over. Dont discount the Kee Chiu fella too.

too early to tell now. It depends on several variables:

1. How soon will old man kick the bucket?
2. Will/Can LHL good health last another one or two decades? He is not looking as healthy as 3 years ago.
3. Who amongst the current group of potentials really want this job? Given that the next PM will be having a harder time and likely be blamed for the downfall of PAP.

It's time for change. This is the true face of the future PM:
Out of the rabble rose a warrior, a true hero, someone non-aligned but who had the experience of several alliances, leading a non-partisan team, a new concept in a new world. His age seems right.
