Well! I had some German friends with me yesterday. I was going through Chennai Forum when they walked in .

They inquired what I was doing and I told them about Chennai Forum. They wanted to know what this Forum was all about. They were very much interested in knowing more. So I let them go through while went to make coffee for them.

When I came back they were laughing loud and started to tease me. I asked what made them laugh so loud and they pointed the following sentence.

“Educated guess 95% Indian population not knowing how to use a western toilet - Dirty footprints on the toilet seats”.

They asked me what kind education would one need to make such an accurate guess.
I told them that I had my education outside India and that I thought it was not sufficient to make such predictions. May be a Degree in Scavenging?

I was really ashamed because I was being ridiculed being of Indian origin with this generalization of 95% of Indians not knowing how to use western toilets.

Such utterance in a country like Russia would mean the death sentence on two serious offences.

1. Insulting the Russian people by a Russian on the World Wide Web.
2. Divulging a state secret in public.
