I have been trying for quite some time to get back in contact with a dear friend of mind whom I meet when I was living in Sydney, Australia a few years ago. The only contact details she would now have of mine are now redundant as I have returned to New Zealand. As far as I can work out there are no searchable phone directories for Thai residential phone numbers and I have exhausted all email and people search engines on the net.

If anyone out there has heard of the concept of "6 degrees of separation" they might be able to assist me in contacting her again.

Her name is Khraywan (not sure about the exact spelling) Somtua. She used the english nickname of Cindy while she was in Australia. She comes from Chiang Mai and has at least one brother and sister. She may now be living in Hong Kong or Macau.

Perhaps somebody knows someone with the surname Somtua who lives in Chiang Mai and could pass my details on. If anyone is able to help I would give them my contact details to pass on to Cindy and she could respond if she wanted to.

(I am mindful that you would not want to invade Cindy's privacy or give me her details directly as you would not know whether or not she wanted me to contact her. I would let her or her family make that decision).
