I think houses in thailand usually have numbers and some name their houses (which already have number) by their last names. I dont know if the houses without numbers but names exist in thailand , maybe in some kindda particular exception or in rural area. Aww to talk about that even I never noticed if palaces have number or not. we just call them by name.

Default House Names
How usual, or unusual, is it for people to give their homes names in Thailand? Here in my village in Wales it is the norm and none of the houses have numbers, and even the estate my uncle lives on in the local town are only named not numbered. I was fairly old before I found out everyones home doesn't have a name.

Though where my brother and where my sister live they only have numbers.

So how about Thailand? Our home in Isaan is called คอนโดสวย by my wife and I, as opposed to the temporary 'shack' we had for 12 months that became known as คอนโดซวย.
