Hi, I am new here and I want to ask the following question:
Is there anybody out there who have information about Jakob Feith? He was the father of ChenDurijang (พระเจนดุริยางค์) the composer of the thai anthem. He was a born German who migrated to the USA in the mid of the 19th century. Later he travelled to asia and arrived in Bangkok around 1867 where he starts to work at the kings court as a musician. He teached the thai people western instruments and music. Sadly I couldn't find to much information about him. There are some about his son. Maybe there are still descendants living..... Would be great to hear something! Greetings from Germany Rainer |

As for Peter Feit his son who composed the Thai national anthem, there ought to be plenty of his descendants roaming around in Thailand till this day; he had 3 wives and 10 kids in total.
(Wikipedia: Thai language edition) Couldn't find anything of interest at all even doing a Google on his father's name in Thai. |
