Our son is engaged to a wonderful Thai girl. Her parents visited us this summer from Thailand and we have all become good friends. I would like to send her mother in Bangkok a gift and I need guidance. Are there certain items that are especially welcome as gifts by Thai moms? Are there shops or florists in Bangkok that can send special gifts? Can anyone suggest a gift that would be especially well received by the mother of a Thai woman engaged to an American man? We don't want to gift inappropriately but wish her mother to know we are fond of her and her family. Thank you for any help.
