You know, I've often thought that that would be a great business to start. An online service based in central thailand that will locally purchase and deliver any item(s) to any address in thailand. Charging a percentage, of course. If nobody has done this by the time we finally move back there, then I'll do it! In the meantime, I wish someone else would so we can use it! I mean it's nice to send money, but it would be great to have something like a washing machine delivered, you know?

Default Sending Gifts to Thailand
Hi,

A friend of mine is looking for a good website to send gifts to his friends in Bangkok for christmas and perhaps new year. I've only seen alot of online flower shops, but does anyone know of any website that has a wider selection, and he can be reassured that the service is good?

You could check out www . flowers2thailand . com, whilst being mainly a florists they do deliver other items such as perfume, soft toys, cookies, cakes, and grocery baskets.

I have been using them regularly for more than a year and have always found their service second to none. I have, however, only used their flower service so can't comment on cakes etc. as they only deliver those in the Bangkok vicinity.
