I bought a small board game in Thailand. There are 32 (16 red & 16 black) circular pieces with Thai characters on them. The name seems to be chess (ËÁÒ¡ÃØ¡) but the board is different. It's divided into 2 halves of 32 squares with a block of 4 squares on each side that are bisected diagonally.

Can anyone help me please with rules of how to play?
