Yeah, you`re right, it could be location of "Starbucks" that affects patronage, and it could be also the time of the day. And it could be that Starbucks is just not as popular there as it is in U.S.

My wife likes to drink coffee and when we go to Black Canyon Coffee (far better than Starbucks and usually has Thai's not farangs in them) she likes to drink iced coffee. Mine's a latte...

And it's far better to drink something warm than cold in hot weather, a cold drink will lower your body temperature and increase the heat difference between you and the ambient temperature.

When I am in Thailand I see quite a few Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts shops, but I did not see many Thais in these shops.
I see many Thais in these shops. I guess it depends on where the store is located.

Default Thais` Favorite Drink....
When I am in Thailand I see quite a few Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts shops, but I did not see many Thais in these shops. And I know that my wife and all her friends NEVER drink coffee, nor tea, (I suppose hot Thai weather has something to do with that) So what is Thais` favorite drink-besides SINGHA beer?...I seen quite a few of those empty cans...What do Thai ladies sip at a get together?..and what is Thai men`s favorite social drink?...

[COLOR="blue"][COLOR="Black"]Black Canyon coffee hmmmm.....I think I drank that only once, at the Suvarnabumi airport, as I was leaving Bkk....Was pretty good at that,..though I am more used to Starbucks, as I drink it here in Chicago as well,...no B.C. here. Iced water only for ladies?...no Sprite, lemonades, iced teas, and other cool drinks that I saw my wife`s lady friends in Bkk. drink?..also I saw them drink coco nut milk...personally I drank sea of pinneaple juice while I was there..and ate tons of fresh pineapples, my favorite of Thai fruits

Pepsi seems to be bigger than Coke In Thailand, which is opposite to most western countries.

Black Canyon Coffee is a Thai company and only has overseas branches in Burma, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.

My wife's shop sells a lot of "birdie" caned cold coffee in the morning. Also a lot of "Lar cow" eye openers
I got my wife "hooked" on Red Rose tea and so we have "Chai si num" every morning.
My wife rarely drinks, but with g/f she'll drink "Spy" wine coolers.
The rest of the croud the usual beer and wiskey..depending on money.
