Hi...I was wondering how to look up family history, geneology, etc. My parents came here when they were in their early 20s, since then planted themselves in Los Angeles and popped out 3 kids (im one of them heeheehee)...Anyhow, trying to get information out of my parents is like pulling teeth...The three of us have very little skill in Thai Culture literally its the size of a fingernail clipping. The only Thai Culture my parents brought with them is the infamous "thai belting" aka "beat ass" when any of us stepped out of line...My parents have been here for so long my mom needs a pencil to write down all her brothers/sisters names if she remembers them & cant remember the order. She remembers however shes came from litter of 13! (Go grandma! or should I say Yie?) Any information would be great...Id love to build a tree for them, and it would definately ease our whole childhood of curiosity..

Have you tried the embassy? from what I know ,which is not much,is every person born is registered in their ampor or town they were born into. Might be a good place to start and then an expedition to Thailand . Good luck on your search.
I am sure someone else in the forums has a better idea.
