Hi, I'm very curious about something I've seen on TV twice recently but in Thai language and I wondered if anyone has any more information.
There was a program about a market in Isaan, one of the provinces in Esaan. There was a slot about a visit to a market and there was a woman selling what looked like a small person that "grew on a tree".
A friend said it was a "Nalipum" but I can't find any more info anywhere on the web.
I also heard that they come from forests in Laos and only people with mystical powers can go to the forest and take these small people from the trees, and that they are like the fruit of a tree that look like small humans.
Does anybody have any moer information on these strange things?
