I would't have thought the average Thai would be able to afford to go to Disneyland.

Mmm true, but, with the amount of Tourists that visit Thailand, it could be feasible to keep it above. Prices would match accordingly I'm sure as well.

Seems this idea has been floating around Thailand longer than I have!

Somehow I feel that LOS would not really provide the returns that Disney look for.
Even Paris has had problems, initially at least.

Default Disneyland
Was looking at another Web site today and came across an article that suggested a Disneyland may be built in Thailand, possibly at Hua Hin.The article was taken from the Bangkok Post, dated 24oct06.It said that Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, founder of Beer Chang, was looking at the idea of building the complex on 10,0000 rai near Hua Hin.Can't remember the cost.Anybody else heard of this?Wife has heard nothing and I could'nt really think of anything much worse to happen in Thailand!Cheers
