I would rather be miserable with a lot of money, than miserable with little money.
[B]I would rather be happy with just a little money, than miserable, pressured and worried about dying, like most of the people with too much money[B]

and also, my fiance and i with our incomes combined, r living slightly over pauverty level. however, we are very happy. it doesnt seem like we r in pauverty at all.
so u c, money isnt everything paul o
Rich is relative, some one who has enough food in there mouth may be considered rich compared with some one starving in a famine.
Some one who is poor, may be rich in happiness.

Nobody can’t buy true love, good friend, warm family and real happiness.
i agree with u 100 percent.
money can only buy material possessions, but when it comes to friends and family, those things r priceless.

the very worst form of poverty is intellectual poverty

this is why I don't drink or consume any other psychoactive drugs...this kind of abstention actually seems to be fairly common among us dravidian types

if I lost my ability to think due to something like head trauma or asphyxia, I don't know what I would do...probably go insane

One question for you all to think about.

Would you rather be the richest 91-year old person or 19 year old kid.

I always tell teenager that they are richer than Uncle Lim, the boss of Genting (Casino) group in Malaysia.

oh u think?
heres an example, my mom won 2 law suits equaling $800000, and she held it over my head when we were in a major fight 2 weeks ago. she and i still arent talking. i sent her an email thanking her for what she did for me in the past to get her to hopefully at least acknowledge me. anyway back to what i was saying. during that fight, she was saying "im a jillionair and u have nothing."
i have nothing? i got a roof over my head, digital cable and phone, highspeed internet, my own hand phone, a 2 bedroom airconed house, a comfortable bed to sleep in, very nice furniture (black velvet couch and loveseet, and all glass coffee and end tables, plenty of food, and also a cat, and u say i have nothing? hahahahahaha very f**ing funny mom. u can be rich in other aspects instead of money. i have my soon to be husband by my side and everything that i mentioned above. yes im rich. maybe not in money, but in happiness.

there r different interpretations of poverty. poverty isnt exactly starving for food. if u make $913 a month, that is what poverty is. that is exactly poverty level. and like i said, my fiance and i r living a bit over the poverty level, we r perfectly happy bc we hav a roof over our heads, not to mention the amenaties that we want. cable tv, internet, etc.

I just checked this Forbes article out on the Internet and got some extra information, pls read on:

"This year, on Thailand's richest people, we have a newcomer who goes by the name paul_au. Now Paul_au, has soared into the Top 50 after proudly proclaiming that he has never once spent his well-earned cash on the female species. Paul_au, who lives on just $3 per day, admits that "I spend more money on my Internet connection than any kind of entertainment". When asked by our revered reporter to whether he would get married some day he had just this to say "No darned way, if some girl wants to marry me, she will have to pay for everything". Paul_au, who enjoys spending most of his time in Thailand, prefers to reside in a small province near Bangkok called Samut Prakan. "I just love that place, i got plenty of friends there - to stay for free, 15 baht noodle soup and i even know a couple of the local girls who pay for my meals out"
