Sawasdee khrub,
Life insurances in Thailand (for a Thai national) are very cheap, compared to the prices in my country Belgium). For 250 Baht/year, A Thai national can have a life insurance which pays out 200,000 Baht on loss of life, dismemberment, loss of sight, permamanent disability, murder and assault, etc.... I have subsribed with my Bank a full life insurance for my family members, which covers also hospital costs (lots more expensive than 250 Baht) a few years ago. Suppose that I take a second life insurance with for example the Thai Postal Services. Will both insurances pay if a family member would have an accident covered by the life insurance? In Belgium for instance, "multiple" insurances are allowed, but only 1 insurance company will pay indemnisation. I would like to know what is written in the Thai Law about this matter. TIA, Nakreeyang |
