It's jasmine flower buds which are still a bit closed.
I actually learned how to make them when I visited a school, but it's difficult to describe without being able to show you directly! Basically, the flowers are lined on a thread with a needle. Then there's a special system to arrange each new flower with a certain angle to the neighbouring flower... At the beginning and end, often roses are used (but that's even more complicated!) Maybe someone knows a better explanation?! |

Ah yes, I love those. I never knew what they were called though. They smell so great and are very beautiful. What is the name of the flowers that they are made from? We buy a couple to make the car smell nice, I will let her hang one on the mirror and throw one in the back seat, I just don't like junk hanging in the windshield, so it don't stay there long either. |

I've always wondered how they make those. Also, I've heard conflicting stories about whether or not you are supposed to buy them from the kids who sell them at the traffic lights. Any opinions? |
