As good as it is, GE has one major problem, and that is it's users/posters!
They will insist on adding placemarks and locations before ensuring they are accurate.
One Thai one that springs immediately to mind is Chomtong.
Click on Chomtong Chiengmai and you are taken straight to websites and pics about Chomtong Chiengrai.
I have found similar errors, including misplaced towns, in the UK., which, I should add, have been corrected after reporting them.

Google Earth has now released an update which is worth looking at. Provinces and borders for Thailand are now all marked.

It is also, well known that map makers deliberately make mistake, to see if other map makers are illegally breaching copy right, by using information from competitors maps.
