I see Stephen posted already, but I'll chime in with this anyway. Unless they've raised it since June, the fare is 150 baht per person per trip for all three routes, to any of the destinations. I've never heard of any scams with the Airport Express busses either.

Are fares for all buses the same or different?

A few months back, i paid 150baht for the air-conditioned special tourist bus from Suwunnaphum to Sukhumvit road. I think it's the same price to all the destinations downtown.

There's always the normal AC bus, but i think it will take ages to get into town. They frequently go from the airport to Morchid (Nothern Bus terminal) and vice-versa.
