I am posted to Manila for work for 1-2years and my tirak is willing to come to join me and learn english in Manila instead of doing it in Thailand. Her parents have also agreed to let her come.

I appreciate it will be harder for her so I would like to find a thai community in Manila whom she can mix with. Her English is very weak - and cannot conduct a reasonable conversation in English at this moment in time. The thai guy I spoke to at the Thai embassy in Manila thinks it is the best way to learn of I dun mind the Philippines accent. Any comments?

Does anyone know of a good English langauge school in Manila that she can attend?

Anyone can give any advice of how easy it is for a thai lady to cope in Manila? Most of the time she can be with me. Except maybe when she goes to school.
