Following up on what Bassai said. i can advise yous all that immigration are perfectly happy to fine you for a few days overstay, more money for the government!! Nothing seriously long though!!
But of course, be careful if your on an overstay though, even if its one of a only a few days. If the cops know, you'll be arrested before deportation! |

Hi All,
I am two weeks away from heading off to my first trip to S.E. Asia, and cannot wait. I am slightly concerned about some visa issues and was seeking some advice from the experienced travellers. My first port of call is Thailand, but I believe you only receive a thirty day visa. This is not too much of a problem as I have be heading down to Malaysia. However, I do want to return to Thailand to see a little more, plus I also fly back to the UK from Bangkok. Will I have any problems obtaining another thirty day visa when I try to enter Thailand again from Malaysia? I hope this all makes sense. |
