This is an old, well-worn topic that could probably use an update.

For the past couple of years or longer I had been using a telephone calling "card" of sorts for my friends in Thailand to call me in the USA. I'm hesitant to give the website because for about four months or more, my friends have not been able to call me. The company [ http://www.enjoyprepaid.com/ ] admits that they are aware of trouble with calls from abroad destined for the USA...the connection simply cannot be made; they always say that they will fix it in a week or 10 days.

What I liked about this service--when it worked--was that my "card" would never expire. That is, when the paid-amount balance on the card would go below a certain dollar amount (which I pre-set), my VISA card would automatically replenish the card to a "full" level (which I also pre-set). I never had any trouble with calls from the USA to Thailand...only the other way around, and only relatively recently at that.

All that I had to do was give my friends a few access/PIN numbers, and they would be able to call me at my home.

It looks like the folks at Enjoy Prepaid are in no hurry to take advantage of my VISA card, so I'm wanting to look elsewhere. But where?

Does anybody on the Forum have a similar arrangement or even something better? Please share your experiences.
