In several places in the north I bought bags of crispy cookies that were a bit like very thin American peanut brittle, but not very sweet. I have been trying to find out how to make them and have had no success.
They are caramel brown, about 100 mm across, topped with a few peanuts, and also bits of coconut (I think). They are a bit greasy - I think with butter. I was told by a local guide they were made of rice flour, butter, coconut, and peanuts. I have experimented with these things and had no luck. I suspect that is not the right list of ingredients. Any help in making this very yummie treat would be appreciated. |
