Default Thai passport
I'm farang, and got permanent resident status (and faithfully maintained it) in Thailand more than ten years ago. Right now I'm not staying in Thailand but of course it's a future option. Unfortunately I don't speak much Thai--certainly not enough to pass any exam. When I got the P.R. one of the officials said it could be converted to a passport after ten years, but this is not in writing and I know nothing is that easy. Does anyone have any idea how this might work? Thanks..
