Hi...
I'm really crazy about everything re: Thai and frankly speaking, I'm not so sure why (even my parents couldn't understand it and some of my friends think that I'm a Thai freak) ![]() I might sound a little bit funny or strange, but I really want to have a Thai name. I know that most of the Thai people usually go to the temples/monks for asking a name for their children. Beside that I believe that a name can give good/bad luck. I think I might need to go to Thailand to get a Thai name, but I'm clueless... Does anyone have a suggestion for me? thanx |

Hi BigRed,
would be very happy if you can get me the website for choosing auspicious Thai names. Actually, I have found a website that offer a service to find the best Thai name according to the numerical and taksa astronomical sciences but unfortunately, it's written in Thai and I can't understand it. Thanks... |

I know there are online resources for choosing auspicious names for your children in Thailand, I'm not sure if any are in English though. I'll e-mail my friend who recently chose a name for his daughter this way and ask. By the way he chose Bualuang, which I think means something like 'Royal Lotus Flower'.
